Whilst the carbon footprint of a product is very important, and we do measure it of course, there are other important lifecycles Natracare also considers when designing and making our products. Through the exclusive use of organically grown and processed cotton, and totally chlorine free fluff pulp sourced from ecologically managed forests, our ethical and sustainable products have a low chemical impact on the environment.
Products which rely on the production and use of pesticides, fertilizers, plastics from crude oil and chlorine, burden the environment with their carbon footprint. The toxic effects of their production and release into the environment include, pesticide poisoning, acidification of trees, loss of wildlife and diversification of species as well as a negative impact on the climate.
