Day 1

Message of Christmas

We have donated £3,000 to Redbridge high school, a specialist school working with children with autism and complex needs.

The students, staff and friends of Redbridge High School have written, recorded and released for purchase an original Christmas song titled 'Message of Christmas'. We are very pleased to support them to help them reach their fundraising target.

Day 2

Helping the Homeless

We have donated £1,000 to local Bristol charity, St Mungo's. They provide outreach, hostel accommodation, floating support and a range of health and recovery services. They help homeless and vulnerable people in Bristol to rebuild their lives.

Cleaner Air Campaign

We're supporting Friends of the Earth tackle UK air pollution. You often can’t see it, or smell it, but air pollution kills.

40,000 people in the UK die early each year as a result of dirty air. Air pollution is linked to lung cancer, heart disease, asthma and diabetes. Many places, up and down the country, regularly exceed legal limits for air pollution.

Support for Women

We've donated pads and tampons to EcoFluffyMamma, to distribute to charities that support vulnerable and homeless women.

Day 5

British Red Cross

We have donated to the British Red Cross, supporting people in need in the UK and overseas. The generosity will help them to save and transform lives across the world and here in the UK. Their amazing selfless work covers so much, from emergency aid, social and refugee support.

Period Colouring Book

We've donated to help make the period colouring book happen! Period positive meditative coloring by Andrea Yip, ""As a public health practitioner and sexual health advocate, I created the Period Coloring Book as a way to embrace, celebrate and reflect upon our shared experiences with menstruation. From leaks, cramps and pads to period sex and free bleeding, this book aims to help start more open and positive conversations about periods.

National Wildlife Federation

We are proud to support the National Wildlife Federation - a voice for wildlife. Dedicated to protecting wildlife and habitat and inspiring the future generation of conservationists. WF works to improve federal and state policies that will improve wildlife conservation on hundreds of millions of acres of public, tribal and private lands, including thousands of miles of streams, rivers, lakes and coastlines across America.

The organization encourages Congress to pass legislation that includes adequate funding for natural resources and directs federal agencies to include climate science in their wildlife conservation management plans.

Sierra Club

Today Natracare supports the Sierra Club, founded by legendary conservationist John Muir in 1892. The Sierra Club is now the USA's largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization - with more than two million members and supporters.

From protecting millions of acres of wilderness, to helping pass the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act and Endangered Species Act, supporting them means helping us move toward a clean energy economy.

National Parks Conservation

This Monday we are helping to protect and preserve US national parks for present and future generations by supporting the NCPA, an independent, nonpartisan voice working to strengthen and protect America's favorite places since 1919.

Day 13

Handicap International

We're now over halfway through our advent of giving! Today we are so pleased to donate to Handicap International, an independent charity working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster in over 60 countries worldwide. They work tirelessly to repair lives by providing artificial limbs to amputees, supporting disabled children in education, clearing landmines and unexploded bombs and caring for injured people in the aftermath of natural disasters.

Today we help them to give artifical legs to amputees, emergency kits to vulnerable families, and school kits for disabled children.

Frank Water

Today we are supporting Frank Water - we love this local charity - by contributing to their Big Give donation drive. Frank Water work for safe water and sanitation internationally, and have helped the re-use movement in Bristol with their refill Bristol campaign to help cut out disposable plastics!

Day 15

WECF International

Today we we are proud to continue our financial support to projects that help women and children by donating through Women in Europe for a Common Future and “Water Solidarity - Women as drivers of change” to a safe water and sanitation project in the village of An-Oston in Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan. WECF International work for Gender Equality and Sustainable Development globally.

Day 16

The Old Library

Today we are donating to The Old Library, a wonderful community resource in North Bristol (UK). Eastville Library was the first library to be built after WW2 and the only community facility in the area. The library was sadly closed by Bristol City Council due to budget cuts.

The area is in the top 10% of the UK’s most deprived areas. Supporting the redevelopment and re-opening of this space continues to provide much needed access to a positive community of social, digital and educational activities.

Day 17

Nepal

Today we are supporting Build with Nepal, an organisation helping to rebuild essential infrastructure, using sustainably sourced materials and local labour, after the devastating earthquake in 2015. The charity is currently raising money to rebuild Kanpur School. They have chosen this project because it will greatly benefit the children who cannot currently properly continue their education, as well as providing jobs in the local community.

Yemen Crisis Appeal

In the midst of conflict, Distaster Emerging Commitee (DEC) member charities are reaching millions of people across Yemen with lifesaving aid.

Plan International UK

We are nearing the end of our advent of giving, so today we will give for more than a day - we have commited to sponsoring a young girl in Nepal to ensure her access to clean water, education and health care. This helps not just transform and improve the life quality of one girl, but the postive effects will be felt throughout their community.

The Salvation Army

Our donation will make it possible for 40 lonely older people to enjoy a proper Christmas dinner and friendship at a Salvation Army community centre.

Day 22

Save the Heart of the Amazon

The heart of the Amazon rainforest is under threat. A series of monster dams could flood a huge area around the Tapajós river, destroying the home of Indigenous People and rare wildlife. Shelter

Today we are donating to Shelter, an amazing charity which supports the homeless and those in vulnerable housing situation. This Christmas, 120,000 children in Britain will be homeless.

Malala Fund

What a month of giving this has been. It is a pleasure to give to so many causes, chairites and initiatives we believe in! Day 24 sees us donate to the Malala Fund, helping girls ensure their right to education and that their voices are heard!
