On 1st July 2011 hundreds of women will take to the streets of Bath with walking boots and thick socks in aid of Children’s Hospice South West. The sponsored 7 mile circular walk will begin with a candle-lit ceremony at Royal Avenue and will pass by stunning sights such as The Royal Crescent, Bath Abbey and The Circus.
Sophie Crossman events fundraiser at Charlton Farm, says:
“This walk is part of a series of walks that take place throughout the South West. They offer a beautiful opportunity for women to get together and celebrate memories of lost loved ones; this might be their mum or dad, friend, child or spouse. It does not matter who you walk to remember, the important part is that these women come together to celebrate their own unique memories. The walk offers a poignant but uplifting way to celebrate memories whilst helping to raise vital funds to support the life-limited children and families from the local area that CHSW provide hospice care for.”
Registration for walkers is just £12 and includes a t-shirt, fundraising pack, one candle bag, goodies, a mug and light breakfast.
You will find a Natracare sample in the goodie bag J
